What does laser skin rejuvenation treat?

Laser skin rejuvenation treats fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, sun damage, dullness, mild acne scars and loss of firmness. It works across face, neck, chest and hands, giving you smoother, brighter, firmer skin over three to six sessions with no injections or surgery.

The treatment is particularly effective for clients in their late twenties onwards who want to address the first signs of ageing or restore tone after sun damage. Because it stimulates your body’s own collagen production, results continue to improve for several weeks after each session and last one to two years with simple maintenance.

  • Fine lines around eyes, mouth and forehead
  • Enlarged or open pores
  • Uneven skin tone and texture
  • Sun damage and general dullness
  • Mild acne scars and post-inflammatory marks
  • Early sagging on cheeks, jawline and neck

How does laser skin rejuvenation work?

Laser skin rejuvenation sends controlled pulses of light into the skin, warming the deeper layers to trigger new collagen and elastin production while gently resurfacing the surface. Over the following weeks your skin naturally remodels itself, producing firmer, smoother, brighter results session on session.

Our non-ablative laser protocol creates a controlled micro-injury to the dermis without breaking the outer skin, which means you avoid the long recovery associated with older fractional CO2 lasers. Most clients return to normal activities the same day, with mild pinkness lasting 24 to 48 hours.

Is laser skin rejuvenation safe?

Laser skin rejuvenation is safe when delivered by a trained therapist using medical-grade equipment. Every client receives a free consultation, a medical history review and a patch test before a first full session, so any contraindications or skin sensitivities are picked up in advance.

We do not treat clients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking oral isotretinoin, or who have had recent sunburn, a cold sore outbreak on the treatment area, or certain medical conditions. All of these are discussed openly at your free consultation.

What happens during a laser skin rejuvenation session?

  • Cleanse: your therapist removes make-up, sunscreen and oils from the area.
  • Protect: you wear dedicated laser safety goggles. Your therapist does too.
  • Treat: the laser handpiece is passed over the treatment area, typically face, neck and décolletage, with a warm tingling sensation.
  • Cool and soothe: a calming mask and SPF are applied at the end.

Full facial sessions take around 45 to 60 minutes including preparation. You will feel warmth during the pulses and may see mild pinkness for a day, similar to mild sunburn.

How many sessions of laser skin rejuvenation will I need?

Most clients need three to six sessions of laser skin rejuvenation spaced four weeks apart. You should see first results after two sessions, with maximum improvement visible three months after the final session as collagen remodels. One maintenance session every nine to twelve months keeps results strong.

What should I do before and after my session?

Before your appointment

  • Avoid direct sun and sunbeds for two weeks before treatment.
  • Stop retinol, glycolic acid and other actives for five days beforehand.
  • Arrive with clean skin free of make-up.

After your appointment

  • Expect mild pinkness and warmth for 24 to 48 hours — this is normal.
  • Use a gentle cleanser and rich moisturiser for three days.
  • Apply SPF 50 daily — your skin is photosensitive for two weeks.
  • No saunas, hot yoga or heavy exercise for 48 hours.

Laser Skin Rejuvenation Questions

How soon will I see results from laser skin rejuvenation?

Most clients notice brighter, smoother skin after the first session. Significant improvements in fine lines and firmness become visible after two or three sessions, and the final result is strongest around three months after your last session, as collagen continues to remodel.

Can I wear make-up after laser skin rejuvenation?

We recommend avoiding make-up for 24 hours after your session so your skin can calm and settle. After 24 hours you can use light mineral make-up. Avoid heavy foundations or products with harsh actives (retinol, acids) for three to five days.

Is laser skin rejuvenation better than microneedling?

The two treatments target similar concerns through different mechanisms. Laser uses light energy to stimulate collagen without breaking the skin; microneedling uses fine needles to create controlled micro-channels. Laser is typically better for pigmentation and brightness; microneedling for deeper scarring. We recommend the right treatment at your consultation.

How long do laser skin rejuvenation results last?

Results typically last 12 to 24 months. Longevity depends on skin care routine, sun protection, diet, smoking and general lifestyle. A single maintenance session every nine to twelve months keeps the collagen stimulus active and protects your investment.

Can laser skin rejuvenation help with melasma?

Laser can help with melasma but needs a specialist approach because aggressive treatment can worsen the pigmentation. For melasma we typically combine gentle laser rejuvenation with targeted pigmentation removal and a home-care plan. Your therapist discusses all options at your consultation.
